When you start up CoD4? This use to happen to me until I updated my graphics card. Try that or give a better explanation of your problem.

Hes not talking about when he gets in game, hes saying when he first starts it up. It shows the CoD4 picture and it loads up then his screen goes black. He needs to update his graphics card. I had this same problem a while back then updating fixed it.

Thats a really retarded answer, "numb nuts", downloaded games clearly work online if you download the correct one, and install it corectly.
