It will do the job not amazingly but quite well if you save up some more money for one get a HDPVR there are gaming editions also but original will work just as well

I only really have a 30 pound limit..around fifty dollars..i wish I could...id love to make youtube videos but better start off with sd def..

I would save up your money. I know you are anxious to get going on starting to make youtube videos, but you will regret not saving money up and buying a good capture card. If you save your money, you can get a capture card worth while.

i read a review on it and you need more cables.
so basically you buy the pvr. then you have to buy other cables because the pvr doesn't come with all the cables
