hey im wondering if 500 us dollars would get me a decent gaming pc to play bf4 and arma 2/day Z on high and maybe even ultra settings
i probably will be getting a high end graphics card in like 4-6 months
i have in mind what cpu/apu and after market heatsink i want but not sure what else
cpu/apu: intel i5 4670k
heatsink: cooler master hyper 212 evo
case: ?
mother bored: ?
ram: 8GB ?
power supply: ?
hdd: already have one, WD 500GB
key bored,mouse: already have both
monitor: i have a 36 inch tv
and i was also wondering if the built-in graphics only could be over clocked higher fps?

_ZombieMods wrote hey im wondering if 500 us dollars would get me a decent gaming pc to play bf4 and arma 2/day Z on high and maybe even ultra settingsI would really rethink that all. You won't be getting very far with a 500$ build. You are asking for quite a lot for 500$. If you will be gaming at least get a low end gpu, like a 750 or something. You can't overclock very well at 500$ especially with that cooler. Also invest in a better monitor 36 inches may sound cool but I can assure you it is not. You will hate yourself if you do not get an SSD, it may not sound like a good investment but load times will suffer if not. That CPU is good and the ram will do fine. Heed my warning op.

The 4670K won't happen for a $500 build. This will, though.

You're really going to struggle to throw together a strong comp for $500, best advice I can give you is to hold on to it and wait till you get at least $800. I know its a cliche but its better to wait a little longer and spend a little more rather than buy something that will only run new games for a year or two before being outdated and unable to run next-gen gaming apparatus with any decent quality.
