Soo i just done a quick speedtest and coming in to my house i have 30 mbps (Soon to be upgraded to 60) but yet when i download a 4Mb song on my phone it takes me a minute maybe 2?
Any reason to why this might be?
And another question is when i had my new hub fitted a couple of months ago and the guy who fitted it for us erged or almost begged us to use [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ... Who is to say that ISP's are not paying this site to say we have more than we actually have because when i do speedtests on other sites im getting about 20-25Mbps??

Since it takes 8mbps to equal 1 megabyte you divide 30mbps by 8 and that will be your speed in MB (Megabytes).

Also just because you have 30mbps, it doesn't mean you will always have the speed for any download. You also have to factor in how fast the speed of the download is throttled from the server you are downloading.
