Riot Official Sargonas has reported that after a few debates on Curse Voice that the team has decided that Curse Voice is unfair. Here is what he had to say :


Automated timers: while our design team is still exploring whether wed want to add any kind of built-in timers to League of Legends, we agree with many of you that having it accessible only through a third-party app is a clear competitive advantage between those who download it and those who do not, and isnt acceptable.
Automated voice calls: We have no problem with players hopping on Curse Voice (or any other voice chat client) to coordinate with their friends in-game, but when the application begins directly connecting you with dozens of other people in unfiltered (and untrackable) voice chats, it can make for a huge negative player experience in a space where we cant help.


Riot does state that their policy was unclear and they are very sorry for not clearing it up.
Anyone with a current Curse Voice account should close the program while playing League. They are not banning any accounts at this moment because they just announced the ban two days ago. However, in a couple of weeks Riot will be looking to ban any accounts still abusing this program.
Meanwhile, Riot Sargonas has stated that if Curse Voice can manage to stay within the League of Legends policy that Riot will allow it once again. The whole Curse Voice team is trying to work out the problems with curse voice because they have spent many months preparing the program and are determined to work something out with Riot Games.
