Whats better CEX or DEX?
It depends, they both have their advantages, CEX is better if your new to modding and only want to do simple mods. One of the advantages CEX users have is that they can data transfer to a second PS3. The ban rate is also lower on CEX.
DEX is the best option for you, if your planning on hosting lobbies, modding games etc. However connecting the tools needed for RTM is a bit longer, but worth the hassle. You can use both CCAPI and TMAPI on a DEX ps3.
Enstones console manager app can be installed on your CEX ps3, meaning you dont need a wired connection to RTM.
Im sure that you wont get banned for modding on MW2 lol, but other games such as BO2 and Ghosts the ban rate is high. Even if you use anti ban, there is still a chance of you getting banned, i suggest you dont mod on ghosts or Bo2.
You can play online and host lobbies on your jail-broken ps3 by spoofing it to the latest fw.

I havent found a ban bypass for ghosts or bo2 and you can switch form DEX to CEX or vice versa as long as you keep your dumps when you do the process the first time. It takes a while so I would recommened staying with one. CCAPI AND TMAPI are two "programs (lets called them that" that allow your to RTM. TMAPI is for DEX and CCAPI is for CEX and DEX. Well to get unbanned, you would need to change your console ID, to do so you need to buy one, or you can use a public ID from console crunch but they get banned with in hours lol. You can mod on ghosts, but theres a chance of you getting banned i didnt get banned for 4 weeks or so. You can also try changing your MAC address to get un-banned. Switching from CEX > DEX is a long process, but after you switch to DEX you can switch back and fourth in mins
