It won't be a quote on quote "remake" but more of a revisit to the region after the events of Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. Most likely so they can incorporate the changes that were made in the generations after generation 3. None the less I am excited for this.

I'm assuming that it means new adventure because of all the younger and new fans of X and Y who don't remember or didn't play the original Ruby and Sapphire.

I'm personally very excited since I have been waiting for about 7 years for a Hoenn remake. Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald was definitely one of my favorite gens, right next to the Kanto games.

Out of all the Pokemon games, I think Black and White, Black 2 and White 2, I wasn't too big a fan of, still good, but wasn't all hyped for it. The rest though I absolutely loved. Hoenn I loved because the soundtrack for Emerald, Ruby and Sapphire seemed so perfect to me, introduced some of my favorite Pokemon that gen and it introduced natures, which started the whole EV/IV/nature training and got me into the competitive side with it. Kanto region, specifically Red and FireRed, the feeling I won't ever have back again. Starting out on Red and going out on a new adventure for the very first time and playing a new type of game and series that I basically grew up with. Skip a few years later from not playing Pokemon, get FireRed and that feeling of playing Red came right back again. Then you have Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold and Soul Silver. I didn't learn to appreciate the Johto region, until I got SoulSilver. This brought back a lot of nostalgia for me, a new region, familiar faces, new Pokemon and then revisiting the Kanto region with new differences, and then Red, battle the trainer you played as in Kanto (unless you picked Green) as the true final battle in the story. Gen 4 is where I started getting more into the game where instead of trying to catch them all, I went into the complex system of EV/IV training and getting the right nature, so many hours put into Diamond getting the perfect team I could and have migrated with me all the way to Black 2 and will be migrating with me over to X/Y soon enough. I kept all my Pokemon games as the Pokemon that have been with me since I started Pokemon back up again on FireRed have been there with me since the start and as long as games are coming out, I'll keep bringing them over with me. Too many good times playing with my teams, that they're honestly staying with me till I quit Pokemon.

I Wonder If That's Just The Box Art? Like, Do You Think They Could Be Mega Evo's? I Mean We Know A Gen 3 Legend Has Already Got A Mega Evo. ( Latios/Latias ) Is It Possible This Game Could Have Mega Evo's? Like, This Means They Can finish The Blaziken/Sceptile/Swampert Mega Evo's? Who Knows. So Many Mysteries :3

I would have to get a 3DS just to get one of those games Ruby was my favorite Pokemon game i have ever played

I can say that I will be getting this game but hopefully they dont make it so easy as X and Y was with EXP Share at the beginning.

It better not be that 3d kids stuff like x/y I want a good ol' birdseyeview.
