I had some success with adding a 22pf cap between A and GND (cpu_rst and gnd) as that seemed to help out too.
Overall, if you are okay with clones I'd say go with the cloned Rev C on trinities (can be had for $5 each or so) and with the Stones on Coronas.

Yeah i used to buy clones of the Rev C but found out theres so many that dont work i gave up also waiting for them to come from china takes ages
But yeah i might just stick with the stone for all installs as at 7$ each its cheaper than real CR

My experience with cloned chips has been much better. Probably been through at least 50 Rev Cs personally with no issues.
But totally, the stones are a solid value. Even at $14 each they are half the price of a Proto V2 and that's the sort of performance they give on Coronas.

Trying caps is a very good idea to improve boot times. As weekendmodder said, I also tried a 22pf cap on my corona v5 and it improved the boot times.

I'm out of stock at the moment, but they can still be found.
And no, as far as I can tell there is no CR_EN function so they would not be good for a dual nand setup.

Sorry for a completely n00b question here this is my first mod
Corona v6 board, after I solder the Stone chip in, what is the next thing to do?
do I need to program the NAND?
any more hardware required than the STONE and the POSTFIXv2?
