I found a video online and I tried the glitch, along with a friend. Turns out he had no trouble with the glitch. However, every time i went to sell the bike, I was only getting $1,800. I'll place a link below for the video I followed. If anyone could suggest what I am doing wrong that would be greatly appreciated.

Does the bike need to have some kind of modification added on to it?

No, I researched about that previously. You only get around 60k per time but I can't see what I'm doing wrong.

I think you get the 60k when the bike is fully upgraded though

If its the same as what I have experienced then yes. Once this happens exit to single player then start it all up again. I had to do this as it would not duplicate anymore bikes.

Yup. I can dupe the bikes no problem but can't actually use the duped bike.

Edit:
Literally after I hit submit and tried to get on the bike again it let me. Not sure what I did other than wait.
