I'd say i'm doing quite well. Iv'e been here for a year.. Went into "unactive" To coming back, buying gold.. And still not 3 hunna posts ;)

It's good that you cleared that up, because based on your post and title, you seemed to be calling out all new users.

To me, that sounds like a dig at all new members, not just a select few. Honestly, older members can do this as well, and while some new members are spamming, many old ones are as well.

I feel very much the same. If a new member posts frequently but actually being helpful, I don't mind in the slightest, but I too have seen the spammers that rephrase and repost another members response in order to make it their own. If you see people do this, just use the report feature

Posting as a new member is fun for some users. I enjoyed it back when I had 500-1500 posts more than I do now.

I mean I guess new people don't really understand the term "post whoring" so they'll just post whore for the purpose of gaining posts xD

I think it's fair to say he's not saying ALL new members are like this, before people get offended. He's trying to highlight the members that do this stuff.

AND: He has a point, it annoys me too. Obviously leechers and people that join to try and scam etc are the worst, but its not much less annoying when the same thing gets repeated all over a post.

Best example:
Somebody posts a thread trying to scam.
Somebody replies saying they are scamming.
15 more people reply saying they are scamming.
I think we got the message after the first one -_-

i agree, look at me, nearly 5 years with only 1200 posts, I'm on at least 4 of the 7 days a week even if its only for an hour.

I completely agree, and am actually sad to say that is what kind of pushed me away from the TTG community this past year. I used to be a very active, gold member and everything then just the number of the people that were popular when I joined just slowly started going down, and newer members were spamming around just trying to get gold and their post count high.

If you don't like it, Simply ignore it.
