or have a parent set up the Timer feature on XBOX( you can only use the console for that amount of time a day)

UhhTaekk wrote Hey TTG, I have been gaming since I was 9 and now im 14 I need to start focusing on my exams and stuff but I keep wating till the last min of my exam before I study someone help me or tell me how I should st and cut my time down I usually play like all day because It rains in Scotland

I had the same problem, i tried switching off my console, putting it away from sigh until i had revised but it was no use. I was too addicted to gaming, my console finally broke down so i didnt have anything to play with, i didn't buy a new one until 2months later. While it was broken i started revising (had nothing else to do, only my laptop), once i got my console again i saw that i wasnt playing as much as i used to.
Either lock your console away for some period of time or sell it.. Trust me, when you see a jotter full of so much info which you need to know, you will take a look at your console, the next thing you know your at it again!

IRobbo wrote If you're using an Xbox 360, use the 'screen time' feature, it allows you to cap the number of hours you play, it prevents you doing anything once you reach them hours.

Start hanging out with a group of friends that don't play video games all day but instead go outside and what not.

Knih wrote Get your parents to set up a parental thing on your computer/console so after like 4 hours or at 6pm, it turns off and you can't get it back on, then use the rest of the night to revise.
Yea I like that idea I most likely gonna give that one a try!

Do something else that you might like. I usually go skating to cut down on my gaming time.

Good luck with this!
