I am after a new car, I have a budget of 7500 roughly
I'm after a nice car that will last me a log turn and not to expensive to run,
Low milage not fussed about it being super fast but it would be nice if it moves when I want it to I'm in the UK so any ideas would be great, I'm looking at a 2011-2012 astra atm.

There is a lot of cool cats around there. I don't know what kind of mileage cat (or even how to check) you could get for 7500. Maybe a tiger or something?

Go for a golf dude 1.4 mk4 is ideal.. Cheap on insurance and you really do not need to drop 7 grand on a first car, even 700 is extreme as far as I'm concerned. Not to doubt driving skill but most of the time first cars end up wrapper around a lamppost or stuck in a ditch due to lack of driver experience.
