That's just blatantly not true.

:tiesto: I'm with modded, 4gb has no affect on boot times once so ever.

I said "i would go with" not him or you..
and with 4gb corona's you have to wait longer to update the dash usually when a new one comes out, you cant flash the nand to update using xell (you would have to use simple nand flasher), if you **** up the nand, you cant use xell to fix it. you have to reflash it using a 4gb read and write qsb.
trinity's and 16mb corona's dont have to worry about any of these.
You do not have to wait any longer after an update. I Was building 4gbs the day the updates came out. As for not flashing the nand, It isnt too big of an issue once you learn about a jtag. If you are that bad with messing up the nand, you shouldn't have the slim in the first place. Most bad nand mess ups, you cant go to Xell anyways.
I recommend a Slim Rgh over anything. I have a Corona V6 for sale in the marketplace. I am on vacation, but I can get it shipped quickly. Check out my topic at the top of the marketplace.
EDIT: And BE SURE TO ONLY BUY FROM A TRUSTED SELLER!!! You dont want the risk of getting scammed!
what you said right here "It isnt too big of an issue once you learn about a jtag"
that is the point im making. im guessing he is new to it cause he is asking. so in my opinion, if he does happen to mess something up, its would be easier to fix on a non 4gb console.

I would actually argue the opposite.
If the installer leaves in the 4gb QSB the 4gb nands are actually easier to interact with than a "normal" nand you have to read via SPI.
If it's a 4gb all he'd have to do is plug in a ribbon cable...

i didnt say boot times for 4gb coronas. the dash update before last, when it came out for xblse, they were saying that it wasnt supported yet fir xebuild to make the 4gb image and jrunner didnt have the update avalible for like a week after...
Just going by what they said about it. i think it was Devon_Bryant i was talking to about it cause my friend had a corona v2.

yes. but what if it didnt have to come to opening the console and getting the ribbon cable.. if he could still boot xell. then on a 16mb slim, he could write new image. but with 4gb hed have to do what you said(if they left it in.)
