my first benchmark scored 625 standard settings in after burner, and then i upped the settings on 'core clock' 10 every time, and i got up to 910 core clock and there were no pixels or errors in the benchmark test, anyway i stopped there and the score went down to 542?

So yo were overclocking the GPU?
but yes, the higher the score the better it is. For example, My stock CPU and GPU combo (see it in my motto) would give me about 1800 in Valley. However after overclocked I am getting about 2100 points.
