Shaw can't defend. Overrated because he's English, Just like Barkley.

Cole hasn't played enough this season and lets be fair hes getting on a bit, Shaw can defend and overlap to get crosses in, he works the hardest every game for Southampton

Barkley is good but he can be inconsistent.

The downfall England will have is the severe heat of Brazil, alot of the teams will be at a disadvantage with the heat i guess.

we have a good all round team its just our tactics and play style are awful, as for people saying Cole should of gone instead of Shaw.. did you even watch the premier league this season? oh and also the guy saying it was Coles choice not to go, no he retired after he got told he wasnt going which can you blame him if a kid is being picked over him?

if we play a team like that we could do some damage and get further than everyone expects, solid team whats actually stopping us from going far?

I agree with you 100% HTFC I want to see us play interesting football this year which hopefully we can do with the youth in the squad. I hope the new players get to play with freedom, especially the forwards. I would love to see us reach the quarters!

I think that Terry should have came out of international retirement though as he has been amazing for Chelsea this year and the best CB partnership in the BPL along with Cahill. I'm not to fond of Jagielka but the defence looks good in my opinion.

the Defence is all im worried about, Cahill might not be half as good without Terry next to him also Jagilka is the best out of the terrible bunch we have i would of took Caulker any day Smalling and Jones are both laughing stocks
