Well for one you shouldn't really just turbo it with stock internals. Over time it's going to die.

With stock internals the max you boost your car can safely run at is about 8 psi, maybe 9 if youre lucky but you cant just slap a turbo on your car without upgrading the fuel pump and upgrading to beefier injectors. with more air being forced in you need to compensate with more fuel. if you really want to tear up the roads then you needa to upgrade your bottom end with forged internals such as pistons, rods, and crank. ive raced turboed hatches in my 99 Eclipse gst and they destroyed me lol so ya go for it if you have the extra money man

and as for costs you might be looking at 800$-1500 depending on multiple things such as the turbo itself, piping, intercooler, turbo back exhaust, exhaust manifold, and youre going to need a boost controller as well. just research and shop around until you can piece together the perfect kit for your budget
