Atm I really love playing Morgana or Kayle support

Gragas, Gragas is the best imo.

I personally think Leona is the strongest support. 3/4 of her abilities are stuns. This is useful for engages, disengaged and stopping channel abilities such as Fiddlesticks' or Katarina's ultimate.

My second choice would probably be Nami. There is such a high potential for Nami but is best used with a half-decent adc. If your carry can last hit well along with poke/trade off properly, her E can be one of the most helpful support abilities in the game. Her Q and R have potential to hit their entire team at once which gives you a huge advantage.

I'm a diamond 4 support main and my two favourite are Nami and Thresh.

The reason I like both of these champs is that I feel like I can control fights whether it's a 2v2 in the bot lane or a 5v5 at dragon.

Nami is a peel machine and hitting a 2/3 man bubble in a teamfight can turn the whole thing around. Her ult is a knockup and a slow so if you hit a bubble and your ult on 1 person in a fight they're pretty much not part of the fight at all.
She's better in lane if you play her defensively with someone like vayne who you want to let farm, this is because her kit is ridiculous for disengage. That's not to say she can't be played offensively aswell though.
She has a high skill cap though, missing an important bubble and **** everything up in the same way that hitting an important bubble can turn the whole thing around.

Thresh is thresh, if you hit a death sentence on someone important in the late game, they're ****.
Don't underestimate his flay though, people rely too much on the hook when you can just walk up to someone and flay them in your box, and then hook them.
His lantern is a get out of jail free card for mongoles who get caught.

If you need to ask what a good support is, than i suggest you don't pick Thresh or Braum like people have been saying. Pick an easy one to start out with. Leona is a tanky support, Annie is a ap support. Both a pretty simple to use and get use to the role with.

Thresh, Leona, and Morgana are the best right now.
