TGK wroteYes, but at this time it would be crap, also there alot of posts that are not related to codtherghstarter wroteTGK wrote I think it's crap. This community should be based on developing, not hosting on CoD.Developing what? some plugins that no one will give a **** about?
Developing whatever the developer's mind comes up with. Without the developers, you wouldn't HAVE an RGH or a JTAG.

You only say that because you don't have the mind of a developer. There's plenty of useful things to create, but it waits on the mind of the creator to think of it. Also, scrolling down the forum, I can see a lot of posts related to CoD in ways. It's mostly asking for help with either CoD or something related to getting to mod it.

To be honest I like most of the community, but I think we need more people like Dwack or GliGli (there's a ton more, but those two are the first two extremely important people I think of when thinking about the modding community).
Like TGK said, without developers we wouldn't have gone anywhere. There would still be no SMC Exploit, RGH, or anything like that. We wouldn't even be using USB mods, we would still just sit around like bums on video games 24/7. Developers started the community, and developers will continue it, the more knowledge we have the more possibilities will arise.

Problem is people that know what they are doing don't want to help new people in. There would be tons of developers if people wouldn't want everything for themselves. I know a lot of people that went into web development just because they could get more help doing that. TGK is the only person I have seen in some time that is willing to help anyone who want's to learn.

That is very true, but there are also those very few generous people (Like TGK) that help others as much as they can. If more people would be like that then the community would further develop.
But then again, you also have a lot of people who want to learn stuff from other people, learn what to do and don't try to advance from that. Those people like to be spoon fed everything, and that won't get them anywhere.

I've been around modding in ttg for years and it hasn't changed in a little bit. All you see is generous ppl hosting free and others charging too much to afford. We need more people to create new things so others can enjoy them aswell. Everybody just waits for something good to release when there's hardly any changes in Menus and tools anymore. The way modding will continue is the way it started and moves on which is developers. We always need more minds to create new things. Now a days it's all pay $10 for bo2 then get your account banned. Need ways to prevent that stuff.

That's not correct it has gotten cheaper then ever to host. Back when it was free to get online it cost around $80 for a kv. Then there was xbls the original one cost $60 a day and kv's cost $15-30. If anything money should be nothing now. I used to have to make a $100 a day just to host for another day.
