Car looks awesome!

If you don't mind me asking what camera did you use to take the photos? It looks really nice quality.

Need to ask you some questions.

For the rims, did you just dip them in black paint and let them dry or what? And how much does that cost?

How much does it cost to tint the windows?

And how much do you think it would cost to get black door handles?

I dipped the OEM wheels using plastidip. Costs around $20-$30 for 3-4 cans.

My current wheels came black from the factory.

Okay so how much cans did you use was was about the total cost to get all 4 of them blacked out?

And do you know anything about the windows and door handles?

I used 3 cans. They're $8 each, so it cost about $25.

Window tint cost between $150-$250 depending on where you go.

You can also dip the handles, but I wouldn't really recommend it since it's such a high-traffic part. For advice on that, you're better off checking out My350z.

So I got tired of my Bose amplifier (powers the Bose subwoofer that comes standard in upper model Zs) because it constantly cuts out and leaves me with no bass.

This is a common issue with the Bose system in 350Zs. Most people just end up replacing the entire sound system. Since I'm a broke college student, I decided to wire up my amplifier from my old car and use it to power the subwoofer until I decide to replace it.

As far as I know, I'm the only person that has (been stupid enough) to wire an aftermarket amplifier to the stock subwoofer.

Install was a pain in the ass and took roughly 6 hours from opening the install kit to clean up, but it was my first time installing an amplifier. Surprisingly, I didn't even catch anything on fire.

This is the result (sorry, didn't take any pics of the install process)

Mounted in the rear, all cables are nicely tucked away.

The gain knob, which I can use to make the bass louder or quieter as I please.

It's a small mod, but it was completely worth it. It will also make the process of installing an upgraded subwoofer much easier, since the amp is already installed.

Hey speed, I saw your next mod idea with the wheels. I'd like to throw it out there that XXR has a new model coming out called XXR 968. They're the older Work Equip replicas and are really cheap. Now you'd have to run 18's as I don't know if they come in 19's or not but they have a nice lip. They run $170-$190 a wheel. I also don't know the pattern for z's but just food for thought. Varrstoen has the same wheels but a little different coming out. Good luck.
