No, no, no, no. AMD's FX series of CPU's are now dead. No reason to buy one unless you don't have money for an Intel build or you already have an AM3+ motherboard. PSU doesn't seem great. I haven't heard of "Team Elite" RAM so I personally wouldn't trust them, but they might be okay. Only reason for a CPU cooler would be to OC and at $8, it won't be very good at all. That GPU sucks, an R7 260X can be had for a mere $5 extra. An extra $10 or so on top of that, can get you the GTX 750.

OP-Get an extra $30 and go with this;

Great CPU, cheaped out on the mobo a little but still decent. Kingston RAM is guaranteed to be of good quality, as is the Corsair PSU. Case probably sucks, but it's cheap. GTX 750 beats the R7 250X and the R7 260X(slightly).

If you're going to stick to your guns and $500 is the absolute maximuim, then go with this instead;

It's pocket change over your budget. CPU is basically the same, just $10 cheaper. Cheaper GPU but the GTX 750 is slightly better than the R7 260X. As well as a cheaper PSU which will still be of good quality.

They're not horrible CPU's, however, the i5-4570 beats it and the FX series are dead. They're still okay, if you have to get one. Just go with Intel over AMD if you can afford it basically.

You didn't specify what you needed exactly, so I'm only including Parts. No monitor, OS, keyboard, mouse, etc.

I saw someone mention that FX series AMD CPU's are not to par and this is certainly not true, for the money an FX 6300 is an amazing CPU, I've been using mine for over a year now and the performance has never wavered. Also for the cheaper price of the CPU I was able to put in an R7 265 card, which outperforms the 750ti in most if not all cases. This is not a build with more than minimal overclocking in mind, the Board is not the best for it and an aftermarket Heatsink is not included either. Just bear this in mind OP.

Final price: $498.91

As far as I am aware, AMD have discontinued the FX series of CPU and there will be no further updates/upgrades. AMD are basically ignoring the AM3+ socket now which is why I wouldn't recommend it. This would explain why the FX series of CPU's are incredibly cheap. The i5-4570 out-performs the FX-6300 in every aspect anyway so the i5 would be a better choice, regardless. There is no doubt that AMD CPU's are good, they are but if you have the money for Intel over AMD, then go Intel(at the moment). Choosing between the R7 265 and the GTX 750 Ti is a close call, the R7 265 is slightly better but also costs a little more. I'd usually recommend the R7 265 over the GTX 750 Ti, unless it is not within your budget.
