Definitely 1000% Elgato. I have a shitty labtop and I have a labtop. 1000% get an Elgato. it's absolutely amazing.

Elgato over HDPVR's.
I was an HDPVR guy at first. but an Elgato beats them all. I guarantee you won't regret it.

I have an HD PVR 2 GE+, and I would recommend the Elgato GameCap HD, it is more portable and easier to use, although you need a really good PC for the best quality out of it.

A lot of the reviews I've seen, most people prefer the elgato so I'd suggest getting the elgato.

HD PVR 2 GE. Thats what i use. Better quality then Elgato. Takes only 1 gb of RAM while Elgato takes 4! Amazing program! Best recorder out there! And its less money then the Elgato

you can upload right off the hd pvr and the elgato. i wouldnt suggest it though as you would most likely want to edit the sounds and put maybe music in or something. i can help you with that if u need it.
