If that was the actual price for the build, It would be great. Sadly the GPU is not listed with a price...

Changed Volk's build a little to allow you a better GPU. No need to pay for Windows.

Also ssd's arent manditory. You could cut out the ssd and upgrade something else.

It would be beneficial to have an SSD, especially with a larger budget(like OP). I wouldn't recommend swapping the SSD out, especially since OP can still get an amazing build with the SSD for $1000.
