I was never really big on 3D text, it made the work look bland to my eyes. I took a graphic and communications class my junior year of high school and it let me practice in photoshop on ways to use 2D text creatively in my work.

My advise is to stop using 3D text, and begin making something unique and creative, and not out of a graphics pack.
