Because it's a nice place where people think you have to be rich to go to. Personally Florida doesn't appeal to me whatsoever and i live in England. The USA doesn't really appeal to me, i've always been drawn to Canada. Places like Vancouver, Toronto, Motreal, Quebec and Saskatchewan.

I've been to Florida almost every year now for the past like 10 or so years. and I've never once bragged about going there I just like there a lot cause its fun different from where I live but ya.

I've never heard of someone bragging about where they've been, they will tell you where they've been but not brag.
Also when people have told you where they've been it's called a conversation starter.
