You could probs do the gold crew color method but use red instead of yellow

yeah, try setting your crew color to a dark red using the RGB code, then go into los santos customs and go down to Metals > Brushed black steel or whatever it's called.

Choose an ice white pearlescent and Press B > click on metallic and hover over any of them.

Press B twice > click on Plate > Buy any plate upgrade e.g yellow on black

Go back onto the paint option and press crew colour.

The crew colour will no be extra shiny, as it has the shine of the steel + white pearlescent underneath the red.

I think it's only the rgb and the 2nd #value that need to be changed, i think the 1st #value isn't relevant, atleast I never changed it when I did this.
