Watchdogs is a strong 8/10 so far.
Driving Mechanics- driving at first is a bit sketchy, but after a while you get used to it. You cannot use a gun while driving due to holding your phone in your free hand, which is why I suspect driving is so hard at first. 7/10
Movement- it has the Assassins Creed feel for movement. You can climb obstacle in a more modern parkour way. You won't do random movements like in Assassins Creed. The camera does go into some weird motions/angles while running at higher speeds. 8/10
Camera/aiming- camera angles sometimes get glitched. Aiming reticle is a small dot which allows for improved accuracy. In the car and running at higher speeds makes the camera go wild. 6/10
Cutscenes- cutscenes are interesting. The style they use is glitchy. I like that compared to other people, it goes with the time of the game. I believe cutscenes are pre-rendered making them look better than the actual game itself, but that is fine in my opinion. 10/10
Story- I have not yet completed the story yet so I cannot give a full review on it. So far it is really well thought out. It is interesting, the goal that is. The story keeps you guessing.
Overall game mechanics- the weapon wheel does not affect gameplay other than pop up on your screen. Weapon wheel contains primary weapons along with equipment allowing for seamless weapon choice. I will admit that at the gun store I couldn't figure out at first how to switch between all the guns already bought. The ability to slow down time with Aiden's perception is really helpful at times. The mechanics shown at E3 have not come into play yet as far as I know. My actions have not gotten people or the media to pin down on me. I am not sure if this has anything to do with me playing the game stealth up to now, but if that is the case, THAT IS AWESOME. Harming citizens really does affect your rep as well as helping them. Hacking is just a push of a button with puzzles at times. 9/10
AI interactions- the city has it's own personality. Every character is unique. Interactions are funny sometimes. 10/10
I recommend this game to anyone into open world games and fun shooters that want a new experience.
