There is no "JTAG" involvement on the 360.. I don't know who called it a Jtag but it was originally the "SMC Hack".

For the Xbox One? No. Why? Because there won't be needing to tamper like that with it.

Anyway, why do you want one to ever be out? I used to cheat and decided that playing legit is now much better.
You sir are an idiot. The SMC hack is referred to the subtitle JTAG. A JTAG is a modification that can be applied to various devices by wiring and programming a part onto the devices MB. But no. The XB1 will not have an SMC exploit. Ever. However, all software and hardware have a weak spot. It can and will be exploited. But things take time. But trust me. It'll happen.

Well, first it was the King Kong exploit, but alright, whatever floats everybody's boat
Anyways, I believe there will be an exploit, but it may be a lot easier than the Xbox 360 one. There are developer settings accessible through the dashboard, so if there was a way to enable those through the NAND without using a chip it would make it a lot cheaper to exploit, but in my opinion would still be kind of useless. There is no xex anymore, and we would need to find a new way to memory edit and create new applications

The King Kong was for 360. JTAGs have been on phones and such. Thats what I was getting at. But you are correct. It would take many years to find a substantial way to edit.

That's why I said there was never really a Jtag exploit to a console, people somehow named it that. However, the xbox one doesn't really require a hardware mod as it's been done already by the xbox virtual discs.
