I've got a few questions about PC gaming, im ordering parts to build my pc now but i was just wondering how long does it take to get used to using the mouse and keyboard compared to a controller?

Also what mouse do you guys recommend for Pc gaming? Minecraft, Runescape, Crysis etc..

Doesn't take long at all if you want you can just hook up a controller to your PC if you really do Struggle.

Just go on steam there a whole world of games to play ;)

Doesn't take very long, and you can just get a controller if you find it uncomfortable. And for a good make of mouse: Razer, Roccat or Steelseries is what I recommend

I played console for years before getting into PC gaming and I don't remember too well but the transition was hard at first but youll get to love the mouse and keyboard.

I switched to PC gaming too, but I hate using the mouse with keyboard combinations to play a game, it sucks. I try to use a joystick when ever possible, but it seems allot of PC game versions like COD don't play very well with a joystick since they are also designed so you can use a mouse. What I mean is that I often find that my look movement is always either too slow or too fast, I can never get it just right when trying to use a joystick.

i played console since the ps1, and i transitioned to PC last july and, if youre good at FPS games or anygames really on console it tends to travel to pc to, it took me literally 1 day of payday 1 to get used to it!

Not long at all, took me ~1-2 days. Once you use mouse/keyboard for FPS, you'll never go back.

Razer make ok mice, but their keyboards suck.

OP, it depends on your budget mainly, but if you can then look into mechanical switches. Mainly Cherry MX Red/Blue/Brown
