If you don't want to read this, just skip to the step by step tutorial.

So, I was messing around the dashboard looking through the marketplace. I went to new releases and clicked on Dark Souls. It said it was free, but when I clicked on it, the normal price showed. Then I clicked on the "Get More With Gold" ad and clicked on Dark Souls, it said it was free, except this time it was actually free. I am currently downloading it and I am silver.

TUTORIAL
1. Sign in to your Xbox Live account
2. Go to the "Games" tab on the dashboard
3. Click on the ad "Get More With Gold"
4. Choose the option that brings you to the exclusive deals for Gold Members
5. Click on the game that is free(Currently Dark Souls)
6. Download and enjoy!


I really wasn't gonna post this because it will more than likely get patched, but I figured it would help those struggling to get gold such as myself.

I'm still not sure if it will work with an account that hasn't been gold at least once, but you should try just to make sure.

When i go to download this "dark souls" game on 1 of my profiles it says its still 14.99 how do i make it free?

Did you go through the tutorial? If you did and your account hasn't been gold before, that is probably why.
