What if we all see colors differently? Like, how can we be sure that my green is the same as your green? What if your green is my blue? There's no way to tell! Yes you can point at grass and say it is green but we can't be sure that we see the same green.

Vsauce did a video like this before

I have a friend who is colorblind to a degree where what's purple, brown, dark red to me, are lighter colors to him. Some of the colors I see such as yellow and orange, are the exact same color to him instead of two different colors. I'm sure people who also have Synesthesia might also see some or all colors as "different" colors. Same goes for people who are blind. You can tell them a color and describe it as best as you can, but that doesn't mean they'll get the same visual you do of when you think of, for example the color cyan, they might see it in their mind as what some people see as red and so on.

It's been scientifically proven wrong. I asked my Science teacher and she made me do a whole project on it. I never want to see this topic come up again because of how much work it took me to finish the project and find out if we all see different colors.

I found we all see the same colors.

How'd you prove it? Do you have any data or research of any type?

I don't feel like explaining again but just imagine what would happen if colors were like this.

Green looked like Yellow
Orange looked like Brown
Purple looked like Blue

We'd start to describe the colors differently.

Also, think about how alike every human is. Every human has 99% of the same DNA. It would make no sense why we would see colors differently.

How does one describe a color? You can point at a banana and say yellow but that doesn't mean we see the same yellow.

It is true that do share common strands of DNA for we all share a common ancestor but things mutate and change over time. For example are you aware that any eye color other then brown is considered a mutation? Are you also aware that our DNA becomes more unique as generations pass with recessive and dominant genes being mixed?

Overall it's just impossible to prove we all see the same thing. One can only see through their eyes not another.
