Well, I should be getting a tattoo soon. I have a few in mind, I'm just not sure what to get first. I'm getting a quote on my ribs, a pin-up girl on my left forearm and a sleeve on my right arm(not sure what yet). I'm also getting Bob-omb from Super Mario tattoo'ed somewhere(not sure where yet) and a sugar skull on my right thigh.
However, I was thinking, for my first tattoo, a quote on my chest/neck area. I was thinking about getting;
"To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often."
across the top of my chest, just below my neck. It's a quote that Axe left on my wall and when I thought about it, it actually has some meaning to me and my past(not going to get into details about it). So, what do you all think? Do you like that idea? Should I get something else first? Thanks.

Personally, I'd recommend starting off with ONE tattoo first. Mainly, to see if you like and want to continue getting more from that point on. However, whatever tattoo you get needs to be something that YOU are satisfied with, as it is your body.

You have to be certain you like it and remember it will be on your body for the rest of your life, so don't get any names on yourself.
Get something colourful and different which turns peoples heads. I want a Full sleeve on my right arm, and a half sleeve on my left forearm.

I'm getting my first soon but already have plans for more tattoo's, if I do decide to continue. I'm just not sure what to get first or if the quote I was thinking of getting, would look nice on my chest? All the tattoo's Im getting have personal meanings to me.

I would never get a tat but if I had the choice I would get a sad little boy on my weak arm then a strong man on my strong arm showing we all have our weak sides and strong sides and no one is perfect.
If I was to get a hardcore one I would get a gas mask hidden somewhere where people don't normally see it unless you want people to think you're a freak.

Just remember that it is your body and the only person who needs to like it is yourself!

Speculate wrote Main thing. Once On. Never Coming off. Besides getting it removed by a lazerThat's nice. It's not your choice whether I get a tattoo or not. I'm old enough and wise enough to figure out for myself that a tattoo is semi-permanent. If you'd read the topic, I'm simply asking on opinions of what should be my first tattoo and if the quote I'm wanting on my chest is a good quote.
