Harming your self won't help. I've been through depression too and it sucks. I blocked people out and didn't want anything to do with anyone. All I wanted to do is be alone. But then some of my only friends that I had help me get through it. But I see how it is for you. My mom is the only person I have and if she ever passed away I would have nothing. All you can do is find something that you enjoy and try to live without having your mom there.

I have no idea how I would handle this, I am in foster care and I just think of her and knowing I'm going back soon makes me happy just think of good times and forget any bad times and be social that is what I try

Find someone that makes you happy. Like a girl or something? You need someone to lean on, when you have problems she is always there for you and comforts you, it also will make you feel good when you get to spend time with her.its a nice feeling. Sorry about your loss btw, nobody deserves to go like that..:/

I know what you mean with loosing a family member, you should never ever harm yourself. You can be arrested for it.
TROUBLED teenager whose best friend died of a drug overdose slashed her wrists and was arrested by police in Gloucester.
it happens.

You should go out with friends who care for you, girlfriend if you have one, treat her to nice things, just anything to get your mind of things. I know this is not the same but i have a friend with bi-polar and she self harmed, when she gets to the stage of doing it, she will go swimming or for a jog, just to clear her mind, sometimes she even reads books. Just whatever you do, do not sit around waiting for it to happen.

When my grandad past away (Second dad pretty much) he always used to love watching me play football, i quit the year before he died, so i joined back in my team and it always brought happy thoughts about him watching me.

Depression is a bi**h and it always will be! Harming yourself is never the answer. If your dad is angry at you thats because he cares to much.. I would go live with a friend or another relative until things calmdown.

If you ever need anyone to speak to don't be afraid to just drop me a PM or send me a friend request!

First off.. I am sorry for your loss!.
Self harm is just replacing one form of pain with another and regret and scars is all you will have to show for it.
You really need to talk about how this is effecting your day to day life with somebody in the real world (Be honest with them) ,I would suggest a family member as they will empathise with what you are going through or go and have a chat with either your doctor or local priest, Both will have training in this area. (Talking to a friend is more of a risk because what ever you tell them may end up being the school gossip).

I don't know your dad but here is a thought or two for you..
Your dad must be as crushed as you are,He has lost the woman he loved most in the world.
I bet he loves you more than you will ever know but being a guy it's pretty hard (even when things are normal) for us to express this openly.
He's anger is probably a mix of emotions all of which are to much for him to handle,You are on the receiving end of all this because (a)you live with him and (b) because he loves you, There is also a good chance that every time your dad looks at you he see's your mother with to be honest must hurt a lot.
If you can't talk to your dad try writting him a letter
It's going to take time for you both to heal!.

I like to believe that for as long as somebody lives in my heart and in my thoughts they are still with me.

I really wish you well!.
Good luck.
