i'm not sure if this is normal. i wan't to reduce this.. i have the stock fan, should i just by an aftermarket? cpu fan? my cpu is like 40 - 65c as soon as i start my pc i checked in bio's to i used speccy. and same thing wasn't sure what to do i built my pc like 3 day's ago i mean everything run's fine the games, ect. but i'm not sure if it's suppose to be this high... what should i do? i tried changing the fan speeds in the bio's to but still like 65c wasn't sure if this was really bad or not.

Intel cpus are rated to 105 so you don't really have anything to worry about,

What ram do you have because if it's not low profile it will limit Air cooler options.

Your CPU will be fine, Intel wouldn't sell a CPU with a stock cooler if it didn't cool the CPU adequately.

The ram does support most air coolers if you're going to overclock.. if you only want it to be quieter and cooler I'd recommend this [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

But if you want to overclock get one of these [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

75C is fine, my old celeron laptop would hit about 90C before it even thought of overheating.

You aren't going to damage the CPU, the PC usually shuts down before the CPU is fried.
