I hate it when people do this in any sport for example in basketball many people thought that OKC would beat the Spurs like really? are you kidding me yea they put up a fight but they were not going to beat them this year or like brazil in the world cup they are so overrated people think they are going to win the world cup now I'm not saying they won't but seriously they have to beat spain or netherlands after their first couple of matches or another example like lebron james people think he is way more athletic than every other player in the nba and that no one can guard him their is tons of players that can guard him. I know this is kind of a stupid rant and i didn't type it in a good form explaining my rant but you should be able to get it i kind of just needed to put it out there

I get what you mean but in some cases maybe just the team that seems overrated just has strong supporters and more of them.

oh yea i totally understand that of course some just have a huge fanbase because I'm not saying the teams or player bad I'm just saying people think they are better than the teams they are facing

not really england is really dedicated to their sports and i respect that but all over the world people overrate teams and players not only in america or england

What you're describing is a passionate fan, I am constantly shot down for my firm belief that the Chicago Bears will be good this year. No matter what team they are playing, I believe they will win. :satisfied:

What makes me angry is when people act like players aren't good. Im not talking in the pros, on my high school baseball team all the players talk about how the team we are facing is not good at all when we get destroyed by them. Or saying a pitcher that was 11-1 on the year is not good at all and he only pitches against bad competition. Sure he mayh pitch against poor competition but it still takes skill to do that. Sorry this is off topic from the original post, but its been bothering me. And yes I understand what youre saying also. The Spurs have been a great team for pretty much as long as I can remember, and saying that they would lose to OKC I just thought the people that said that were silly. Sure OKC has good young talent, but look at the Spurs. They have solid young talent in Leonard and Green. And then amazing veterans with Duncan, Parker, and Ginobili. Sorry I can not relate to the World cup at all, as im not a huge soccer fan.

A passionate fan? thats way different and the chicago bears actually got good picks this year so i can see the bears doing good but maybe not being able to win the Super Bowl i wasn't talking about passionate fans the bears are not underrated nor overrated in my opinion. Also N20 i totally understand what your saying that does upset me as well whether they play good competition or bad competition if they do good than they have some sort of skill

i feel like you didn't even read the topic if you didn't please do before you post because thats not what i said at all i know that obviously theirs fans that support for example lebron james because he's good and people enjoy watching him play but some people say he's the best and this and that blah blah blah thats what I'm trying to say
