MONCTON - There are multiple reports on social media that two RCMP officers have been shot in Moncton, N.B. after a man allegedly carrying high-powered rifles opened fire.

The suspect is also allegedly carrying a crossbow and knife.


What would you do if a guy like this was walking into your street? Luckily, I live a bit far away from there but this is a scary thing!

EDIT 1: 3 Cops killed and 2 badly injured confirmed. Shooter is still active and hiding. Videos are being posted everywhere, one that shows a cop getting shot at ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ) and the hashtag #PrayForMoncton is now trending WORLDWIDE on Twitter.

Well I live in Nova Scotia I would not blame this on anything other than a man with some underlying problems. Hopefully we can get this resolved quickly.

I live in New-Brunswick but in the north-east and the shooting is at south-east, so i'm safe for now. He already killed 3 police officers and injured 2, it's insane!

He still has not been killed/arrested.
Apparently they now have him cornered or something along those lines.

I can tell you, it's going to be hard to find him. So many possibilities there are, just think about it. They thought they cornered him, but they were wrong.

Thank you for making this post was just about to this is scary this could of been my town i live like a few hours away from this Atm currently he still hasn't been caught / killed
Hopefully he gets caught soon and no one else dies

I woke up this morning to see this on the news and they showed a search area but i think its way to big there is no way they could cover it

my condolences go out to all the families involved.

Update: the shooter has been caught. He is under arrest and did not resist.
