My personal preference for youtube banners, are the more basic/clean, the better. Overall, I really like your use of the effects/gfx packs. Maybe increase the transparency of the back font or; (Don't know how this will look, but maybe try a reflection effect?) Might turn out a little bit more clean. 8/10 for it though!

I understand what you mean, I have created a few in the past and I get your drift..
I will also test the reflect technique.. Thanks

To be honest, all you did was put a ton of layers on top of one another and did a quick text graphic. In the end, it looked fine. It isn't my type of style but you made it for someone else, not me.

Not too keen on it but yea 7/10 and you should of posted it in the graphics section.
