I have just purchased a HD PVR 1 which requires 5 ports in the back of your TV all I have is the VGA ports and HDMI ports. I was wondering if anyone knew how I could get this working with the HD PVR? your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have the video in port, YBpBR in, Audio in (R+L) and Digital Audio Out ports. Also 3 HDMI cable ports and that is all :S

Yeah its the old one in the back its got 10 ports 5's for the in from the xbox in which I used my old xbox cable on the other there are 5 are to connect to the tv but I don't have the ports on my TV

Search for a ''component cable to HDMI'' I use a ''VGA to HDMI'' myself.

I was in the same situation as you so I purchased a signal convertor box. You put the 5 coloured cables from the HD PVR into the input section, then output on the other side of the convertor box with an HDMI cable connecting to the TV. It works perfectly, no input lag/loss of quality like you'd expect using a device like this. I got mine [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
