On Monday I was scammed by a kv seller. He sold me a kv with the controller virus, and I warn that no one buys kvs from him. His name is VerShawn McConnell on AIM, and his screenname is shawnmc97. Proof: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] .

That was the second time that I bought a kv from a scammer..why is it so hard to get working, and unbanned, keyvault..?!?! ;C

Well im not sure who this guy is. But there is no such thing as a kv with a controller virus... I work on game consoles for a living and run my own store. I have had alot of people ask me about controllers not wanting to sync. Or in your situation, it looks like its gonna sync but it doesnt. Its actually a problem with either the rf board inside your jtag or the chip in the controller that controls the syncing process. So i highly doubt this guy scammed you with a so called kv controller virus lol....

Ha ha, im sure that it is a technical issue with the console itself, but it didnt happen until I flashed the kv to my jtag xbox 360. It is a xenon jtag, compatible with both Type 1 and Type 2 kvs. I found out how to fix it by following this tutorial: Forums/viewtopic/t=180222.html. To fix the problem, you basically flash an older updflash.bin to your nand. If it were a good kv, the fix would be a bit more complicated, wouldnt you agree..?
Other people have posted it happening to their consoles, but not many. I did not do anything to alter the outcome of flashing that kv, that shawnmc97 guy gave me a kv that somehow caused that problem. But thanks for your feedback..! ;]

O yea, I changed the rf board, but the sync problem still existed.

Haha, maybe next time I recently bought a kv from modmigit.. ;)
If you sell shared kvs for 20$, I may try buying from you maybe next week.
What is the link to your shop..?
