Ive got a 1.4 corsa which is probably about 1.5k 1st year. Uprading to a fiesta next month which is costing me 1.6k on my own.

Cheaper if you add a parent as a second driver btw.

Looking at about 1-2.5k depending on which car.

If your looking for a fast car get same as me .

192 BHP rx8 not the 230 the insurance is 3500 now. I'm 17 aswell

Also they go for dirt cheap. You just need to know which ones to look for and how to look after them

Honestly, you may not like it but a classic mini is great on insurance. We put it down in my name as a first driver and it was just under 1K for me.

Pembroke is quite a nice place so that shouldn't make much of a difference. I looked at prices with my dad on my insurance and found it was cheaper without him. A 1.0 corsa is very cheap to insure, cheapest I've found is an old beetle, at least 500 cheaper than anything else I've seen

Lots of different factors. I'd suggest focusing on your test etc. and then when you get your car shop around and get lots of quotes. I'm with co-operative insurance and they are quite cheap for me.
