So I've read that you can make Skype calls through your Xbox One. And your Xbox One can "Multitask". So I was wondering, would it be possible to talk to friends through a Skype call, and simultaneously play games on your Xbox? As in being in a Skype call instead of a Xbox party chat

No, you can navigate through the Xbox menu while you're in Skype but it pauses the video feed. hope this helped you out if you have anymore questions feel free to ask.

Yes. You aren't able to see them in live video feed, but you can still hear and talk to them while playing games.

Okay thank you that answers my question.

I can still voice call with friends that aren't on Xbox, but say PC gaming while I am on my Xbox, correct?

Yes. So say your friend is on PC and you are on your Xbox, you are still able to voice or video call him. Only, as I said, you cant see him while playing games.
