I haven't been a huge fan of CoD since Modern Warfare 3 to be honest. MW3 was the last decent Call of Duty game, and nothing beats the likes of CoD 4/5 and MW2.
Quite simply, the franchise is beyond it's time now tbh.

The game looks great IMO. It's different and that's good. I didn't see anything recycled and I know I'll be picking this up midnight release. I grew tired of the Modern Warfare feel and this looks outstanding. Ghosts was ok but this will bury the game.
Of course the internet marks will judge the game based on their experience on Ghosts and that's stupid. How about we make a game where it's the same thing as Call of Duty 4 and see how many people buy it. I guarantee people will be hypocrites saying they miss the old games but when they get it they whine that it's the same thing.

Not really they seem to get worse and worse every year. Either that or the fact that I am growing up and just finding interest in other things but they just don't have the midnight hype around them any more.

-Fletchr wrote I haven't bought a copy of Call of Duty since Black-Ops 2 , before then I had every game since the first ever COD. I don't have the same sense of excitement anymore, cod 4 and mw2 gave you a real sense of warfare (however warped it may be) but it started getting ridiculous from MW3 onwards. I don't think I will be buying any more cods from now, unless they have some seriously good reviews
So... you just didn't get Ghosts..
I'm happy that it's at least something different.

Hell no not excited for the game. They're just getting worse and worse and less unrealistic. I like the old CODs with WWII and Vietnam war and all that, not some futuristic game. They need to stick to normal realistic gameplay like they've made the past like 8 ones not a game like titanfall if I wanted to play something like that I'll go play titanfall. I don't see them being as successful as they have with game because it looks like S*** compared to the other cods and I'm sure others can agree with me
