My Primary Hard Drive C: is not working properly. Heres the problem:
When I tries to partition this drive it does a check on the volume and the entire computer becomes unresponsive until I can get to task manager to kill the process. Then when I run any disk checker the program/computer hangs until I restart the computer. Is there some program/way to fix my hard drive?
The hard drive if your wondering is a:
Hitachi HTS547575A9E384 SATA Disk Device 750 GB

If your sure the problem is the hard drive, the best thing to do is to just replace the failing drive.

Use a utility that operates outside of the operating system like HIREN 15.2 this has all the tools any technician needs including multiple hdd/.sdd partitioning tools download it and install image to a usb then boot from it.A ticking sound is a sign of a failing hard drive like mine
It also provides tools to monitor health of a hdd i.e whether or ot sectors/clusters/tracks are functioning properly.
