I recently restored my laptop yesterday so I should be able to help you out. Do you have any recovery discs?

What OS is it running? Download a stock ISO of your OS and either burn it on a disc, or make a bootable USB with it. Once you have your OS ready to go, boot into BIOS and switch your boot device to "USB" if booting from a USB, or "DVD Drive" if you made a CD, then restart your PC. You should automatically be presented with an install screen where you can format your hard drive and start fresh, this part is pretty easy and step-by-step. Once you've finish formatting your drive and provided basic info, type in your product key -- it's more than likely located on the bottom of your laptop, but it may be under the battery -- so check there, too.

Now that Windows is fully installed and ready to use, download your drivers here: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] , I know it looks like a lot, but I highly advise you download all of them -- especially BIOS updates, network drivers, keyboard/input drivers and SATA drivers. Like I said, I'd need more information about your OS to give you any more specific links / advice.

If your running Windows 8 you can do a factory reset by simply accessing that option through the settings.
