I just recently purchased 'The Forest' and everytime I start it up, it starts to load and then just freezes.
If anyone knows how I can possibly fix this it would be much appreciated and I will +Rep you as much as needed. Thanks for your time.

You could try uninstalling it and then installing it again. If that doesn't work then I would say you will have to wait for an update for the game. These things happen with games in Alpha.

You're not missing out on much till the next update, which hopefully packs the game with shit.
For example: You can build custom bases out of custom walls and doors, but the door wall has no **** door lmao.

The game may be opening itself twice, in task manager try to search for the game and see if thats the case... if not then it may just be an alpha bug.

Thanks for the tips guys, I changed it to where it was not full screen and was able to play and like you said I will probably wait until all of the bugs are sorted out to get into it I just wanted to get a feel for things..
