Warpath wrote Well my cousin had this happen to her. one night she went sleep and then my mums mum (my grandmother) that passed before mine and her birth (i never got to meet her) but she had this happen and she saw my grandmother in her funeral clothes the next morning she woke up told her mum my aunt and described her perfectly even though she never knew what she wore that day also there was no pictures of the clothing! weird huh

I think she actually made contact with your grandmother mate. If she described her characteristic features bit for bit to her mum and she agreed with her, she contacted her.

Anyway, Ive only had this once when I was young. I was probably about 5-6 at this time. I had a wardrobe infront of the way I slept. So, I entered sleep paralysis and the wardrobe door opened and this alien/ghost like thing came out of the wardrobe. It had no colour to it and was just plain blank. It came over to my bed buy luckily I woke up.

Ive also experienced an Out of Body Experience (OBE) where I was flying above a main road and floated down my hallway.

Ive also experienced lucid dreaming alot. But to my luck, theyve been about fantasy sex which is absolutely amazing.

sleep paralysis is normal my friend, the reason its scary is because since you cant move or talk. the first thing the human thinks is something must be forcing them to stay there thats when they start seeing figures. but when you learn that it is actually just sleep paralysis you will be fine nothing happends.

Used to happen a lot when I was a child, Although i didn't encounter any "Ghost". I think i was more afraid of the fact i couldn't move.

I think its possible to dream with your eyes open but hearing noises and seeing ghosts? Are you saying that there are actually ghosts coming towards you as you sleep?

I've never experienced it and I don't think I want to. I have attempted Lucid dreaming before, but got nowhere with it.

It has happened to me once before. I woke up, and I tried to move, but couldn't. I was stuck in one position, and it felt like I was paralyzed.

I tend to become Lucid in my dreams allot, it's hard to explain but Sleep Paralysis has happened to me once and it was me lying on my bed next to a plate with 20 strips of bacon. It's not a scary experience if you don't think it's scary, it's like telling your brain what to do if you are absolutely terrified the hallucinations are only going to get worse but like me I stayed calm and I mean there was bacon so I think that's a win. ;)

xCraZyxProductionZz wrote I don't know why people are down-voting other people because they don't believe it. My dad is 54 and this has happened to him a few times. He says he's tries yelling but nothing comes out, and he feels like someone is laying on top of him pressing him down.

That is exactly how it was for me. The old folks back in the day called it "The Witch Is Riding You". I've only experienced it like 2 or 3 times, and only when I've slept on my back. If you don't believe just ask some of the older generation and they will confirm it.
