Wondering is 77c normal cpu temperature on a laptop
2 core laptop 1st cores 77 2nd cores 75 am running

UDK PHOTOSHOP AUTODESK this laptop is using a integrated graphic card so am putting a load of strain on the cpu

Peaking 90c... not sure if this is normal my computer rarely passes 50

Laptops can take much more heat than a "regular desktop" computer can.

No need to worry.

And the sensors that measure the heat can be reading wrong too.

If it is hitting 90c that could be serious worry. I recently replaced the heatsink on a laptop that was hitting those temps and this fixed the issue! The part was only 4 from ebay, but make sure you contact the seller to find out if he has a guarantee on the item!

The procedure is very simple, depending on the laptop of course, but if you type in the model number of your pc and the word 'disassembly' after it, 9 times our of 10 you fill find a post with step by step instructions backed up with pictures. It couldn't be easier!

Most processors these days can reach 100c no problems at all. Basic servicing of the laptop i.e opening and checking for dust in the cooling fans should lower temps a bit. If you're more technically minded you can reapply thermal paste on the processor or fit a newer cooling fan altogether if your current is faulty.

i bought this and it really helped, Went from like 65C idle to 50 so i would recommend this also it has blue LEDs so it looks steller,
