I have not once heard of this nor have I ever experienced it.

It happens when your mind is awake and your body is a sleep.

I've had a dream like this and I was freaked out when I woke up but also relieved that it wasn't real !

It's happened to me twice, the second time I couldn't move and saw a ton of red numbers in front of my eyes it was so scary

Hi, i know i'm a bit late, but what you're experiencing is something known more commonly as "Lucid Dreaming" your surroundings are merely subjective and are based solely on what you are thinking of at that exact moment.

This aways happens too me, its not really figures but i defiantly hear voices and i cant talk or move and my body is kind of like vibrating and it gets worse and worse then i wake up.

This has happened to me twice and luckily I've only seen/heard animals.

My first time I woke up at night and saw a huge shadow butterfly and it slowly faded away. Since this was my first encounter I screamed and sat up the whole night scared.

Second time I woke up and saw a black cat on my bed. I had my window open that night so I actually thought the cat jumped in. It started to walk on me, but no weight on my chest. I knew what it was... it slowly faded away as I blinked.

I'm still scared every night if I'll wake up with a demon girl over my bed screaming with a teddy bear in her hand... shit like this is ugly
