So my personal opinion on Call of Duty is that MW2 and Black Ops were the best CoD games they've made.

The reason why these games were so good was because they had easy to maneuver, small-medium sized maps. And these games were SIMPLE.

Modern Warfare 3 wasn't too bad, but Black Ops 2 and Ghosts were just horrible.

Black Ops 1 in my opinion is the perfect Call of Duty game to date.

I think that Treyarch should remake Black Ops 1 with the same, or a similar game engine. It should have the same guns, but with some new and some remade. It should also have Zombies, because I mean really. Everyone enjoys some good Zombies.

That's just what I think about the direction CoD is going in. What do you guys think?

Everyone is going to have a different opinion about Call of Duty. It's also quite annoying the people who post stuff like this.

You think BO1 was the best? Well others think BO2 was the best. Some think COD4, some think W@W, everyone has a different opinion.

We get it, you don't like the futuristic look of it, so don't play it. Simple as that. Go back to your Mw2 and BO1 while you rage about how bad the new ones are. Be that troll in the corner.

I was just saying my opinion, not raging. I wasn't anywhere near trolling in a corner either.

And I was asking what everyone else thinks. Because obviously other people have the same thoughts as me considering Xbox One Ghosts has around 27,000 people online. That's nothing.

So. why don't you go and be that "Troll in the corner".

I thought Black Ops 1 was the best Call of Duty that I played. It was balanced very well, and I really liked the snipers on there.

I didn't even like Ghosts very well, and Black Ops II was nothing like the 1st Black Ops.

I hope that Advanced Warfare changes the way I feel about the series, because to me the CoD series has been on a decline lately.

That's exactly how I feel. I really hope that Advanced Warfare brings back some of the "simplicity" we had in Black Ops 1.

If it's a disappointment, then that will be the last CoD I ever buy.

You say that, but I doubt it.

I said that for Mw2 and I bought every CoD after it... but my problem was I didn't give them a chance. When BO1 came out, I hated it and sold it after a few days. It was different and I didn't like the different so I didn't give it a chance. I played Mw2 for the next 4 years.

Then when Ghosts came out, I pretty much did the same thing. Until I started to play it more. I love it now, it just took some getting used to. Ghosts is a good game, and I think Advanced Warfare will be a decent game as well, just with a lot of changes.

Btw... CoD was ripped on for being the same thing just new maps or whatever, now when they're doing something about it... they're getting ripped on even more. Fans can never be content I guess.

I don't really think it's a bad thing for the series to move away from where it once was. If you like at any of the Call of Duty games released within the past 1-3 years they have come a long way from Call of Duty 1,2, and 3.

I would like to see a little bit bigger of a change with the game but still make it similar to what it once was. Change isn't always a bad thing.

No reason for a reply like this, he was simply posting his opinion looking for others insights. This used to be a community where people could freely express their opinions with out being flamed, please do your part to keep it that way.

In regards to the post, I completely agree; however, I have never really been that interested in CoD games. The real reason I bought them was to play with friends, I will say though Call of Duty 4 was by far the best CoD game that was released in my opinion.

It seems to me newer CoD games are the same thing: a repetitive campaign that really has not changed much from the beginning, and just more guns and attachments to keep you occupied on multi-player.

To each his own though.

Well it seems too many people complain that it is the same every year so they are trying to change them.

And when they get changed too much, people just complain about that too.

I agree on how COD isn't COD anymore. It used to be soldiers and now it is super soldiers with exoskeletons and jetpacks. This is becoming more like Halo every year.
