Im trying to downgrade my jtag using degraded. i have the 1888 file system and a downgrader image but whenever i click build v1888 it pops up with an error saying it couldnt find mfgbootlauncher.xex. Even though it is there.

First flash a modded nand on dash 9199.
Then follow [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] tutorial.

so i should flash a 9199 kernal and the follow that tut? ive seen that tut before i want the dashboard to be literally flashed i dont just want to run the xex

I think it would be safest to just flash a 9199 kernal and set the 8188 dash.xex as your default path in dashlaunch.
