So yesterday i got a brand new galaxy s3 and its performing very slow i only have 4 apps downloaded on it fb app cache cleaner and bbm why is it performing so slow i updated it to 4.3 i dont know if that is the cause but my galaxy s3 mini my previous phone runs so well and smooth compared to my s3 any ideas?

That's just typical TouchWizz for you. After a samsung phone is out for about 2 years they just get exponentially slower over time.
Rooting it and putting a slim rom on like CM usually fixes it.
Might try just rooting and deleting bloatware and see if that helps.

I wouldn't exactly call CM "slim" anymore. It's super bloated and half of the features get removed from nightlies when they don't work.

This is typical samsung, touchwiz really sucks, same thing happened to my note 2 but after about 10 months, i got tired and flashed hellkat, i suggest you go for liquidsmooth rom, or omni(if its out for the s3)

If your not on wifi that could be the problem.

Still using it and its still quite sluggish i always feel as if everything i do on it feels a strain on it especially when my friend has a crappy htc desire with a 600mhz processor and his is running smooth it beats me i think its just extremely poor coding by samsung in my opinion the device could do so much more if coded properly
